Artsvik has won the Armenian national selection for the 2017 Depi Evratesil, and will represent the nation in Kyiv this May.

Today, we watched the two finalists Artsvik and Marta, in their final battle. After 4 months of auditions and live shows, the two singers performed today two songs, one international and one in the Armenian language. Jury and televoters voted (50% each) and Artsvik was the big winner with 71% in total.

Artsvik performed I have nothing from Whitney Houston and Aprelu April from Inga and Anush Arshakyan. She scored 31% from the jury and 40% from the televoters.

Today, we found out who will represent the country, but we have to wait a bit more for Artsvik’s Sonk for Kiev.

This will be Armenia’s 11th time in the Eurovision Song Contest. Armenia with Sirusho in 2008 and Qele Qele and in  2014 with Aram mp3 and Not Alone, reached the 4th place of the scoreboard. Last year, Iveta Mukuchyan reached the 7th place with her song LoveWave.
