The French speaking Belgian national broadcaster, RTBF,  will be holding with Sony Music Belgium, a special press conference on  10 March at 10.30 CET at the Maison de Vienne in Brussels,  to officially present the 2015 Belgian Eurovision representative Loïc Nottet and his Eurovision entry .

Loïc Nottet is one of the finalists the last season of the Belgian version of the The Voice. The 17 year old singer won the support of the public with his dynamic cover versions of songs like Rihanna’s Diamonds and  John Newman’s Love me again.

RTBF and VRT are the 2 Belgian national broadcasters that compete at the Eurovision Song Contest and year after year are responsible for Belgium’s participation in the contest. In 2014 VRT held a  national selection, Eurosong 2014– which ended having as a winner Axel Hirsoux with his entry Mother . Despite a great peformance in Copenhagen he failed to qualify to the grand final.

In 2013 RTBF selected its 2013 Eurovision act Roberto Bellarosa via an internal selection. He represented Belgium at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmo with his entry Love killsachieving a 12th placing in grand final.

Belgium has been participating in the contest since 1956. It has won the contest in 1986 with Sandra Kim’s J’aime La Vie and hosted the contest the next year in Brussels.
