Giannis Karagiannis won the golden ticket  for  the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest  with One thing I should have done,  by winning the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Project this evening.

The Final took place in capital city Nicosia and  was presented by Antri Kerantoni. Giannis Karagiannis was selected by a combination of Jury and public votes.  The Jury comprised of Alex Panayi, Despina Olympiou, Elena Patroklou (all of whom have previously represented Cyprus at the Eurovision Song Contest), actor and media personality Tasos Tryfonos and international guests Bruno Berberes (the former French Head of Delegation and executive producer of The Voice France) and Nicola Caligiore (Italian Head of Delegation).

Giannis Karagianni got the second place in the televoting but came on top of second Panagiotis Koufogiannis (Without your love) in the general order after the Jury’s votes were added .

Giannis Karagiannis will represent Cyprus in the upcoming second semi final of the  Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna on 21 May 2015.
