This action brings Eurovision closer to the ESC audience of  the country. Odense, Aalborg, Horsen and Herning are the  four cities that held DMGP since 2012.

Aalborg is the 4th biggest city of Denmark (100.000 citizens). The procedure of DMGP will be almost the same as in 2017. 10 songs will fight for the golden ticket and the city of Lisbon. Hosts of the night will be Annette Heick and Johannes Nymark as in 2017.
