The first semi final of the national selection of Eesti Laul 2019, took place this evening determining the first six finalists of the national final set to be held on February 16

A total of 12 acts took part in tonight’s 1st semi final and performed live in the following order:

From the 12 semi finalists a total of 6 acts got the ticket to the final :

  • Victor Crone “Storm”
  • Stefan “Without You”
  • Inger “Coming Home”
  • The Swingers “High Heels in the Neighbourhood”
  • Sandra Nurmsalu “Soovide puu”
  • xtra basic & Emily J “Hold Me Close”

1ST SEMI FINAL VOTING PROCESS

Once the 12 performances were completed , the show’s hosts revealed the first qualifying acts according to the jury’s voting: 

  • Victor Crone “Storm”
  • Stefan “Without You”
  • Inger “Coming Home”
  • Sofia Rubina-Hunter “Deep Water”

Following the jury’s votes the hosts announced in random order the qualifying artists in the first four positions after combining the public and jury voting.

  • Victor Crone “Storm”
  • Stefan “Without You”
  • Inger “Coming Home”
  • The Swingers “High Heels in the Neighbourhood”

Further on a recap of the remaining songs was displayed and the public had a second voting round in order to give a second chance to two more acts. The two acts that received the most votes and will be joining the other 4 qualifiers in the final were: Sandra Nurmsalu and  xtra basic & Emily J.

During the  Live Show no placings and points were revealed or which act topped the voting. The next 2nd semi final round will be held in February 2 next Saturday.
