Although the Irish national final  for Junior Eurovision 2018 hasn’t been broadcasted  yet, the Belarusian national broadcaster which is hosting this years event, seems to accidently leaked Taylor Hynes’ win of the national final and will therefore represent Ireland with his entry  “I.O.U”.

Specifically, during a broadcasters video referrring to the preparations, the young dancers appear rehearsing some of the songs that will compete on November 25th, among which we can listen to ‘IOU’ and see a fragment of his performance at the national selection.

The Irish national selection , Junior Eurovision Éire, consisted of 4 semi final rounds, where in which one we saw  7 acts compete each time. The first two acts from each semi final qualified ti the final which will be broadcast on November 11. Taylor had taken part in the 4th semi final achieving the 2nd qualifying position. The young act had made another attempt in the past to represent the country in 2016 with his song  “Níos Airde”.

The entry that Taylor will perform on the Minsk Arena stage, is signed by himself  alongside with Niall Mooney and Jonas Gladnikoff. This is not the first time the speacific team had worked together. In 2015 they were behind the Irish JESC entry “Réalta na Mara (Star of the sea)”, which finished 12th .
