Israel: The results of the first part of round 3 for «The Next Star for Eurovision»
The Next Star for Eurovision , Israel’s national selection is unwinding and Sunday night the 3rd qualifying round took place. A group of six out of twelve remaining contestants competed in duels for a spot in the final ten.
Every member of the jury gave with a YES an 8% of the total positive votes alongside with the public vote. The winner from each duel passed to the next round. Afterwards the three acts that lost in their duel battle gave a last performance and the one with the lowest score was eliminated. However this time one of the three artists that were battling to avoid elimination, decided to drop out so the other two qualified to the next round without needing to compete.
Monday night another pack of six will compete in the same way and one more contestant will be eliminated. After this night’s round we will reach the final 10 acts.
The jury consists of Static & Ben-El Tavori, Keren Peles, Harel Skaat and Assaf Amdursky.
