Ieva Zasimauskaitė with the song “When We’re Old“, is this year’s Lithuanian representative at ESC.

Yesterday, details of Ieva’s performance on the Altice Arena were announced.

In the national final of the country, we saw, at the appearance of Ieva, images of mature couples on stage screens. But as long ago as  LED screens could not be used on the stage in Lisbon, the Lithuanian delegation had started making changes to the stage perfomance.

Lithuanian television has decided to use charts that viewers can see from the house. Indeed, it stated:

“We are already preparing for Lisbon. Today, we made videos with many beautiful people for the special effects that will be shown on TV. The video includes children and people of mature age from different ethnicities, from around the world and Europe. We want to show that love is not only among the Lithuanians. It does not matter what the nation of every person is, but it seems that we are all same”.

It seems that the Lithuanian entry wants to pass to the public many “human” messages trying to achieve this year’s qualification to the Grand Final.

Lithuania competes in the 1st half of the 1st semifinal on May 8th.
