Tinkara Kovač will be the slovene hopeful in Copenhagen
Last saturday, slovenian EMA took place after one year break to choose the country’s Eurovision representative. Some well know names, such as Omar Naber, MUFF or Tinkara Kovač.
These were the seven acts to take part in the competition:
Omar Naber
Nermin Puškar and Samuel Lucas
Bilbi
Nude
Rudi Bučar and Elevators
Tinkara Kovač
Muff
The last two acts made it to the super final, and there was a second round of performances. After that, the lines were open again and Tinkara won by a landslide, getting the ticket to Copenhagen to represent Slovenia in Eurovision.
Tinkara Kovac previously came 10th in the 1997 Slovene Final, 2nd in 1999 and 5th in 2001.
