This is Hungary’s 16th participation in the Eurovision Song Contest. The country made its debut in 1994 with Friderika Bayer, which reached fourth (Hungary’s best position to date). Since 2012 he has been using the national final A Dal for the choice of the player without ever having left the final. In 2017 he was represented by Papai Joci and the song “Origo“, winning the eighth place.

Let’s see if the good tradition, Hungary has during the last years in Eurovision Song Contest, will continue this year in Lisbon.
