Albania: Festivali i Këngës 58 kicks off tonight with the first semi final
This evening the first semi final of Festivali i Këngës 58, is set to take place in Albania, kicking off the event that will determine the country’s Eurovision 2020 act and entry.
The 1st semi final of Festivali i Këngës 58 will be aired live from Pallati i Kongreseve in the capital city of Tirana, and will be hosted by Alketa Vejsiu. A total of 20 competing acts have been split up into two semi final rounds. Today the first set of 10 candidates will compete on stage in order to qualify to the final. The 10 contestants are:
- Nadia and Genc Tukiçi – Ju flet Tirana
- Sara Bajraktari – Ajër
- Devis Xherahu – Bisedoj me serenatën
- Kanita Suma – Ankth
- Kamela Islamaj – Më ngjyros
- Bojken Lako – Malaseen
- Elvana Gjata – Me tana
- Aldo Bardhi – Melodi
- Renis Gjoka – Loja
- Albërie Hadërgjonaj – Ku ta gjej dikë ta dua
A special jury formed by music professionals will decided which act will qualify to the grand final that will take place on December 22 . Tonight’s show will have as a guest Eurovision 2019 runner up, Mahmood from Italy.
