Albania: Here are the 18 ‘Festival i Këngës 59’ finalists

The 18 acts that will compete in the Albanian national final of Festival i Këngës 59 and for the right to represent the nation at Eurovision 2021 have been revealed.

After the first night’s show of the iconic festival, the 25 acts will be appearing again this second night performing an acoustic version of their entries. However, the names of the acts that made it to the final have gone public , with a total of 18 contestants forming the line up of the Albanian national final for Eurovision 2021.

The acts that advanced to the final were determined exclusively by a jury which decided that they 18 acts that will compete in the final are:

  • Anxhela Peristeri – Karma
  • Devis Xherahu – Peng
  • Era Rusi – Zjarri im
  • Evi Reçi – Tjerr
  • Festina Mejzini – Kush je ti dashuri
  • Florent Abrashi – Vajzë
  • Giliola Haveriku – E lirë
  • Gjergj Kaçinari – Më jep jetë
  • Inis Neziri – Pendesë
  • Kamela Islamaj – Kujtimet s’kanë formë
  • Kastro Ziso – Vallja e jetës
  • MIRUD – Nëse vdes
  • Orgesa Zaimi – Valixhja e kujtimeve
  • Rosela Gjylbegu – Vashëzo
  • Sardi Strugaj – Ka me t’ba me kajt
  • Viktor Tahiraj – Nënë
  • Wendi Mancaku – Ves I shpirtit im
  • Xhesika Polo – Më mbron

 

The Seven acts which  did not make it to the final are:

  • Franc Koruni – E morën botën
  • Klint Çollaku – Do t’ja dal
  • Fatos Shabani – Ty
  • Enxhi Nasufi – Njësoj
  • Erik Lloshi – Jo
  • Agim Poshka – Vendi im
  • Stefan Marena – Meteor

 After tonight’s second show where all the 25 acts will perform again their entries, presenting an acoustic version of their songs, tomorrow the Grand final will determine which of the 18 acts will represent Albania at Eurovision 2021.
