Armenia: ARMTV announces internal selection; Decision revealed in February

The Armenian broadcaster has confirmed  that the 2015 Armenian Eurovision candidate and entry will be disclosed in February via an internal selection. According to Ms. Gohar Gasparyan-the Armenian Head of Delegation  for the Eurovision Song Contest and his  statements to  the media, they are preparing a pleasant surprise  for this year’s Armenia’s participation in the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna.

Last year Armenia’s internal selection concluded in Aram’s Mp3 participation with his entry Not Alone, which ended up in the 4th place in the Grand Final in Copenhagen.Armenia debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 with Andre and hasn’t yes achieved a victory. Armenia’s best result at the Eurovision Song Contest is held by Sirusho’s 4th placing in 2008 withQele Qele and  Aram Mp3′s 4th placing in 2014 with Not Alone. From the 8 times Armenia has participated  in the final, 6  times (2006-2010) and in 2014, was in first top ten places.
