Armenia: Get to know Sevak Khanagyan

Sevak Khanagyan is an Armenian-Russian singer and songwriter. He will represent Armenia in Lisbon this May with his song Qami, after his victory in the Armenian National Final, Depi Evratesil 2018.
Khanagyan was born on 28 July 1987 in Metsavan but he was raised in Russia. He studied music in Moscow (2014). In 2015, he participated in Glavnaya Stsena, the Russian version of The X Factor and he achieved the quarter-finals. He also joined The Voice of Russia but was eliminated at the knock-out stage. After his success, he went back to Armenia and he was a coach on the third season of The Voice of Armenia.
His song Qami was his 1st single and was composed by Sevak Khanagyan, Anna Danielyan and Viktorya Maloyan.
Armenia is participating in the contest since 2006 in Athens. Also, has missed the Grand Final once in 2011, and has reached the top-4 twice (2008 and 2014). Last year Artsvik represented her country, and ended up in the 18th place of the Final.
