The Australian national broadcaster revealed that more than 700 entries have been submitted to SBS for the forthcoming nationl final at Gold Coast.

As we have informed you in previous post this year Australia will be holding a national final in order to determine its next Eurovision entry. Almost a month ago and just a week before the deadline the broadcaster revealed that hundred of entries had been submitted for the country’s national selection.vToday the national broadcaster revealed that is has received a total of 700 submissions . The songs were of big variety and of high level standards proving the existance of lots of talented composers in Australia.

A special jury panel will evaluate all the songs and select the best ones to compete in the national final. However, once selecting the national final songs the jury has to match the songs to the most appropriate acts to perform them in national final night. 

 SBS will soon announce which acts will be competing in the live show of Australia’s national final. 

In 2018 Australia internally selected Jessica Mauboy represented the country with her entry We Got Love in Lisbon which finished in 2oth position.
