Australia: Dami Im in Sweden

The second representative for Australia is here. Dami Im is going to be the 1st female singer from Australia that will fly the country’s flag in Stockholm. SBS announced her name today, in Conchita’s Wurst concert in Sydney Opera House.

Im is 28 years old, Korean-Australian songwritter and singer. She won the 5th edition of the show The X factor Australia and she signed a contract with Sony Music Australia. She has already released 3 studio albums.

The song she is going to perform in Stockholm, will be released on the 11th of March.

This will be Australia’s 2nd participation in the ESC. Last year, she took part in the Grand Final as a guest member, but this year, Im will participate is the Second semi final. Guy Sebastian was the lucky number one for Australia last year, he performed the song Tonight Again and brought Australia at the 5th place of the scoreboard.
