Austria: ORF reveals the 16 candidates for national selection

ORF, the Austrian national broadcaster, announced the names  of the 16 acts  to participate in the upcoming Austrian national selection.

5. Johann Sebastian Bass
6. Kathi Kallauch
7. Kommando Elefant
8. Lemo
9. The Makemakes
10. Mizgebonez
11. Renato Unterberg
12. Royal Kombo
13. The Su’sis
14. Tandem
15. wo/Men
16. Zoe

The Austrian selection will include 4 shows , from which three  are going to be pre recorded and one live. The procedure will start on  20 February and will end with the grand final in Vienna on the 13 March. All shows will be host by ORF at 20:15 CET. The results will be based on 50%-50% jury and public televoting. Here are the scheduled dates of the 4 shows:

20/02: Show 1 (16 acts – 6 will proceed to the next phase)

27/02: Show 2 (6 acts will showcase their talent)

06/03: Show 3 (6 acts will perform 2 songs each – 12 songs will be premiered)

13/03: Grand final (Live show with 6 acts and 6 songs)
