Azerbaijan: Aisel’s song to be announced on March 4th

Last November, it was announced that Aisel would be the one to travel to Lisbon representing Azerbaijan.

From the day she was announced as a representative of her country, Aisel traveled to many countries and made several demos in collaboration with experienced experts to find the right song for this year’s Eurovision contest in May.

She recorded several songs, with different musical styles. Among them,she chose three  she liked most which were given to 300 people to, not knowing that it was about Azerbaijan’s participation in Eurovision.

They chose the winning song with 87%, and Azerbaijan now have its entry  for Eurovision 2018. The video of the winning song will be released on Eurovision Youtube channel  on Sunday, March 4.

Azerbaijan competes in the first half of the First Semi-Final on May 8, 2018.

Last year, Dihaj represented the country by the song Skeletons, winning the 14th place with 120 points.
