Azerbaijan: Elnur Huseynov going on stage in Vienna!
The Azerbaijani national broadcaster,ITV, has revealed that Elnur Huseynov will be the representative of Azerbaijan at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna.Elnur was internally selected by the Azerbaijani national broadcaster İTV to represent once again his country at the Eurovision Song Contest in the host city of Vienna. He previously represented Azerbaijan at the country’s first ever Eurovision Song Contest in 2008 alongside fellow artist Samir Javadzadeh. With their entry Day after day, the duo qualified to the Grand Final where they received a total of 132 points, ending in 8th position.
Elnur will compete in the second semi-final on the 21 May with his entry Hour of the wolf. Listen to the Azerbaijani entry below.
Last year, Dilara Kazimova was selected via the national selection Böyük Səhnə to represent her country at the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen. With her entry Start a fire, Dilara qualified from the first semi-final, ending in 22nd place at the Grand Final.
