Azerbaijan: Ictimai TV will participate in Junior Eurovision 2021 with Sona Azizova

Azerbaijan is making its comeback to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest this year and has chosen Sona Azizova to fly the flag in Paris.

The Land of fire is returning to the competition and has internally selected Sona Azizova to represent the nation at the 19th edition of the contest.

Sona is known from her participation in the first edition of The Voice of Kids Azerbaijan in 2020 in which she achieved to finish in the honorable 2nd place.

Azerbaijan debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2012. Their last participation was in 2018, with Fidan Huseynova and her song “I Wanna Be Like You” .
