Belarus 2018: Watch Alekseev’s first rehearsal
After the second break for today next on stage is Belarus and its representative Alekseev. The program fell slightly behind schedule as Netta delayed to complete her first rehearsal.
There’s a special platform on stage that rises as an elevator while the artist is standing on it. Alekseev gets on stage wearing black pans and a white shirt.
He holds a rose in his hand and the stage is mainly dark with some shades of red. At some point he gives the rose to the cameraman who passes it to the audience and gives it to a female dancer which throws it with an arrow to his hand which seems to be bleeding.
At the end Alekseev turns suddenly revealing his back full with rose petals directing to the initial impression of him bleeding.Perhaps the most surprising and “crazy” performance of the day.
