Belarus: Mihai Trăistariu joins the Belarusian national selection

Ex candidate of the Romanian national final of Selecţia Naţională, Mihai Trăistariu (MIHAI), has made a change of plans and will be competing in the Belarusian national selection.
The withdrawal from Selecţia Naţională
Some days before the Romanian act , aka MIHAI , had decided to withraw from Romania’s national selection claiming a lack of trust to the process and of objectivity. The Romanian act has participated 9 times in the country’s national selection, among which was his participation in 2006 when he won the national final with the song Tornero and represented Romania in Athens where he came 4th in grand final.
The Belarusian option
After his latest withdrawal from Romania’s national selection, MIHAI decided according to website Eurofest.by to participate in the Belarusian national final with the same song he initially submitted in Selecţia Naţională entitled Baya:
The Belarusian national final is set to take place on March 8 while until January 31 interested acts and composers can submit their music proposals. After the submissions a special committee will select the final 10 acts that will compete in the country’s national final. There a jury will determine the final winner and the next Belarusian Eurovision act.
What do you think of MIhai’s decision to make a second attempt for Eurovision 2019 through the Belarusian national selection?
