Belgium 2017: Blanche’s song “City Lights” released
Belgium will participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with the entry City Lights performed by Blanche and co-written by Blanche and Pierre Dumoulin.
Blanche was one of the first artists for Eurovision 2017 to be revealed. The official music video of Blanche’s song “City Lights” has been released.
The Belgian entry for the 2017 contest in Kiev, Ukraine will be selected internally, organised by the Walloon broadcaster Radio Télévision Belge de la Communauté Française (RTBF).
Who is Blanche?
Ellie Delvaux was born on 10 June 1999 and is 17 years old. Ellie Delvaux better known as Blanche, is a Belgian singer and songwriter. In January 2016, Blanche auditioned for season five of The Voice Belgique performing Adele’s “Daydreamer”, with two of four coaches turning for her. She eventually chose to join team Cats on Trees.
On 22 November 2016, broadcaster RTBF announced that they had internally selected Blanche to represent Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kiev, Ukraine. Her song, “City Lights”, was supposed to be released on 8 March 2017, but leaked the day before.
