Brendan Murray’s X-factor journey reaches to an end in the semi finals

The X-Factor UK is in its 6th week of live shows and semi finals phase. Among the remaining contestants is Brendam Murray , Ireland’s representative in Eurovision 2017.

The Irish Eurovision 2017 act, after going through the 5th live show of the competition, came back on X-factor stage alongside with 5 more semi finalists , in a night that was honoring the legendary group of ABBA. This week Brendan performed Run by Leona Lewis .

THE RESULTS 

After the live perfromances this evening, the results from the voting were revealed straight away , according to which two eliminations had to take place. The two contestants with the less votes went home directly. 

Unfortunately for Brendan, who is part of the Boy’s team, mentor of which is Louis Tomlinson, former member of One Direction, didn’t manage this time to survive and was eliminated being one of the two acts to have received the less votes. However the Irist star will be include on the x-factor group of acts that will be holding the x-factor tour around the country.

Brendan represented Ireland at Eurovision 2017 in Kiev with his entry Dying To Try . Despite his magical vocal performance he didn’t reach the grand final.
