Croatia: More details on Franka Batelic’s participation revealed
A few days ago, Franka Batelic’s participation in Eurovision 2018 was officially announced by Croatian national broadcaster,as we had informed you in our relevant article. This year, the young singer will represent Croatia with the song “Crazy”. All the details of this year’s Croatian delegation have been revealed at a press conference earlier today.
First of all, Franka revealed that she had been always dreaming of participating in Eurovision contest. More specifically, her dream began in 1994 when Tony Cetinski represented her country. Now that her dream has come true, Franka is determined to give her best. Specifically, she stated:
“I want to achieve my goal and make Croatia proud”.
Concerning her song, Crazy,which has been written by Branimir Mihaljević, Frank said:
“Crazy is a” mythical “, different and very dynamic song. A song with a special style with English lyrics”.
Crazy is one of three songs she has submitted to HRT, the Croatian national broadcaster, and said that it was not written for the contest. Franka with Branimir Mihaljević had started working a long time ago on this song. Finally, the shootings for the video clip are ready to start and it will be directed by Sandra Mihaljević and Igor Ivanović .
