Cyprus: It is Official, Eleni Foureira and Fuego in Lisbon

As we have already  informed you, Eleni Foureira  had agreed to represent Cyprus in the 63rd Eurovision Song Contest. Shortly before, Cypriot public television (RIK) officially confirmed that the popular singer will perform Fuego, Alex’s Papaconstantinou song, at the Altice Arena in May in Lisbon.  

The press release confirms the title of the song Fuego, as well as the news that we have informed you with our previous article, that the  artistic director and choreographer Sacha Jean Baptiste will take care of the presentation of this year’s Cypriot entry!

This will be the 35th Cypriot entry in the competition, which has not managed to win so far. Three times  has ended fifth (1982, 1997, 2004). Cyprus this year, of course, with the strong team taking over  is aiming much higher.
