Cyprus: Results of the fourth audition show

CyBC, the Cypriot national broadcaster,  held the fourth show in the Eurovision Song Project, which is the method of selecting the Cypriot entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. The four member jury which is comprised of the  former Cypriot entrants, Elena Patroklou (1991) , Alex Panayi (1995 and 2000) and Despina Olympiou (2013), along with Tasos Trifonos.

Ten artists performed their entries in front of the four-member jury, but only two eventually manages to get at least 3 “Yes” from the jury members and qualify for the final that will be held on the February  1 2015. The full results are listed below:

• Lucy Sofroniou performed the songs Stronger every minute (Cyprus 2004) and Lonely – 2 Yes (Panayi, Trifonos), 2 No (Patroklou, Olympiou)
• Groove Therapy performed the songs Satellite (Germany 2010) and #Is this real life – 2 Yes (Panayi, Patroklou), 2 No (Trifonos, Olympiou)
• Nikos Trikkis performed the songs Genesis (Cyprus 1998) and Eimai edo – 1 Yes (Patroklou), 3 No (Panayi, Trifonos, Olympiou)
• Minus One performed the songs Poupée de cire, poupée de son (Luxembourg 1965) and Shine – 4 Yes
• Kostas Karaiskos performed the songs My number one (Greece 2005) and Rainbow – 4 No
• Nelena Paparisva performed the songs Euphoria (Sweden 2012) and Run run run – 2 Yes (Panayi, Patroklou), 2 No (Trifonos, Olympiou)
• Konstantinos Michailoudi performed the songs I anixi (Greece 1991) and Stand up – 4 No
• Giannis Karagiannis performed the songs Stronger every minute (Cyprus 2004) and One thing I should have done – 4 Yes
• The Knockouts performed the songs Hold me now (Ireland 1987) and Real you – 2 Yes (Trifonos, Olympiou), 2 No (Panayi, Patroklou)
• Stella Stilianou performed the songs Mono yia mas (Cyprus 1996) and Thelo na gino oranos – 1 Yes (Patroklou), 3 No (Panayi, Trifonos, Olympiou)

So the qualifiers from the 4th  audition show were:

The above qualifiers will join the 13 acts that made it through the first three audition shows that were staged on the 7th, 14th and 21st of December.
