Cyrpus: Time for unveiling Eurovision 2019 act is approaching
The national selection process for the next Cyprio Eurovision act is totally under steam as the national broadcaster,CyBC is making all the necessary moves to secure everything will go according to plans.
After last year’s Eleni Foureira’s 2nd place and the massive success following that, this yeat CyBC is facing a challenge to repeat such results. Therefore it is moving in a very careful way but decisively to secure the best act and entry to represent Cyprus in Tel Aviv next May.
Is seems that the time for announcement and revelation is approaching, as the national broadcaster uploaded a cover on its officila facebook account asking eveyone if they are ready for some quizes and teasers concerning the country’s next Eurovision act. According to that it seems as if the broadcaster will unveil the next Eurovision representative progressively so as to provoke mosre public interest.
Of course the name that has mostly been metioned for representing surprise is that of Tamta’s . The greek acts itself has confirmed preliminary communication between her record label MINOS EMI and the CyBC, making her the most likely act to represent Aphrodita’s island. Another rumor going around is that Tamta is more than pleased with the song compesed by Alex Papaconstantinou. According to INFE Greece’s internal information next representative had been already decided and it won’t be along until the Cypriot broadcaster unveils the act that will represent them.
