Czech Republic: 5 songs left for Kiev

Almost 300 candidate songs for the country, and now we have only five left in the race.

A Special jury listened carefully to the 300 songs and chose the five  best songs. This was the first leg of the Czech process. As the Czech Head of Press, Martin Brož, explained, in the second leg the jury will match the songs with the potential artists. In the end, the jury and the broadcaster Czech Television will have 5 songs in their Final versions.

The announcemet of the artist and the song are expected to be made in February.

Last year, Czech Republic reached the Grand Final for the First time with  Gabriela Gunčíková and her song  I stand (25th place).
