Eurocontest.cz revealed that this year’s national selection, entitled ESCZ 2019 , will conclude at the end of January and will feature 6 competing entries. Submission of songs to the national broadcaster is in progress and ends on October 31. From the submitted songs a total of six songs will compete in the national final.

The final outcome will be determined by an international jury, formed by past Eurovision participants, and an online voting open to local and international fans. Fans will be able to cast their vote through a special application (Official Eurovision App), where all competing entries will be uploaded first days of January. However, only the local fans’ votes will count fully while the ones coming from outside the country will count as one extra vote included in the jury’s overall voting.
