Czech Republic: Gabriela Gunčíková with i stand goes to Sweden

Just 5 days before deadline, Česká televize, has officially announced that their representative for the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest is Gabriela Gunčíková with the song I Stand. Both, artist and song, were chosen internally. You can listen to a 30 second snippet of the song below. Tomorrow, on Friday the 11th of March at 14:00 CET,  the official video clip of the song will premiere.

Gabriela became famous in her country when she ended up second in the show SuperStar in 2011. She has already released 2 studio albums in 2011 and 2013.  She also  played the lead role of Cleopatra in the stage musical.

This will be the 5th time Czech Republic will take part in Eurovision Song Contest and they failed all 4 times to reach the final. Will Gabriela be their lucky number 5?
