Czech Republic: Listen to Mikolas Josef’s new single “Me Gusta”
Mikolas Josef met great success in this year’s Eurovision representing Czech Reublic in Lisbon where his song Lie to Me achieved an honorable 6th placing in the Grand Final (4th in Televoting). Following this success Mikolas has become one of the most promising popoular stars in his country and many fans awaited his next steps in the music scene.
One Day after his 23rd birthday, the Czech artist made his next step releasing his new single entitled “Me Gusta” in collaboration with Joacim Persson and Sebastian Arman, who were behind the Bulagarian Eurovision entries in 2016 and 2017 (If Love Was A Crime και Beautiful Mess). The lyrics are in English and only its title is in Spanish. The song is close to the act’s music paths so far and in line with today’s music with all the bases to become a hit.
The Czech artist stated:
I needed some time for myself after Eurovision to prepare my new single. I felt the pressure where all people are waiting you to redeem your previous success constantly and everywhere. I believe that you can’t just take any song out of the drawer and release it.
