Denmark: DR will take part in Eurovision 2022
Denmark’s national broadcaster, DR, has confirmed that it will take part in next year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Italy.
DR has officially confirmed to ESCToday that the country will be present at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest to be held in Italy next year.
The Danish national broadcaster, DR, will probably remain in the national form of choice used in previous years. However, more details on the Danish selection for Eurovision 2022 are expected in the coming weeks.
Denmark in Eurovision
Denmark has been taking part in the Eurovision Song contest since 1957 and has won the contest three times, in 1963 with Grethe & Jorgen Ingmann , 2000 with Olsen Brothers and 2013 with Emmelie de Forest.
This year represented by the duo Fyr & Flamme who sang “Øve os på hinanden” but failed to qualify for the final, finishing 11th in the second semi-final with 89 points.
