Denmark: Emmelie de Forest releases Hopscotch
Emmelie de Forest, the winner of the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest from Denmark, released her new single Hopscotch on Monday August 10.
Hopscotch is an up-tempo popsong, departing from Emmelie de Forest‘s folk-oriented style. The Danish artist is currently working on material for a new album, which is planned for release later this year. The lyrics for Hopscotch were inspired by Emmelie’s hectic life in the past couple of years, living as if she was “jumping from one leg to another” – just as in the children’s game, hopscotch.
The video for Hopscotch will be released next week.
