Estonia 2017: Second Semi Final results of Eesti Laul 2017.
The 2nd semi final of Eesti Laul 2017 was held tonight and was aired on Estonian national channel ERR. The program was hosted by Marko Reikop and Elina Netšajeva
The national broadcaster had made a call for submission of songs early September 2016 with a deadline finishing on 1st of November. A special jury afterwards cut the list down to a total of 20 acts that would be divided in two groups , ten artists for each one of the two semi finals to be held. Five artists from each semi final are to qualify for the grand final. Last week the first group of five finalists was determined through the first semi final.
Today the second group of five finalists was picked among the following contestants that competed in tonight’s 2nd semi final :
- Liis Lemsalu – Keep running
- Koit Toome ja Laura – Verona
- Rasmus Rändvee – This love
- Kerli – Spirit animal
- Daniel Levi – All I need
- Alvistar Funk Association – Make love, not war
- Close To Infinity featuring Ian Karell – Sounds like home
- Almost Natural – Electric
- Antsud – Vihm (Rain)
- Angeelia – We ride with our flow
After a first round of voting by a special jury and public voting , 4 contestants Kerli, Koit Toome ja Laura, Liis Lemsalu and Rasmus Rändvee were the ones to make it first to the final. The fifth and last one was determined, exclusively by televoting after a final round among the rest 6 artists. The last ticket went to Daniel Levi who won the public vote on this 2nd round of voting.
Τoday’s five qualifiers will join the five ones from the 1st semi final in the Grand Final that will take place on March 5 2017.
