Estonia: Elina & Stig say “goodbye to yesterday” and fly to Vienna
The Estonian national selection reached its end tonight with the Eesti Laul 2015 final taking place to determine who will fly the flag for the country in the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna.
A total of 10 contestants performed on stage giving the battle for the golden ticket to Vienna. After the 1o performances the jury and public votes led to a super final with only three acts, Daniel Levi & Elisa Kolk, Elina Born and Stig Rästa. The three acts performed again but this time the result for the winner was determined only by the public voting, which declared Elina Born and Stig Rästa as the winners and will therefore represent Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with their entry Goodbye to yesterday. Estonia is participating in the first semi final on 19 May.
Last year, Tanja represented Estonia. Her song Amazing failed to reach the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest after finishing 12th in the semi-final.
