Uku Suviste, the Estonian Eurovision 2020 hopeful, has started to record his Eesti Laul 2021 entry via which he aims to win the ticket to return in Eurovision 2021.

The Estonian act, who after this year’s Eurovision cancellation saw his Eurovision journey stay incomplete by the covid-19 pandemic, has revealed that he has started recording his Eesti Laul 2021 entry. Estonia is one of the countries that has opted for a new national selection to determine the Eurovision 2021 representative.

Uku shared on Instagram that the ‘Dream Team’ is working with him again after the success of his 2020 entry “What Love Is”. Dimitris Kontopoulos and Sharon Vaughn  are currently working with Uku in order to get the Estonian act’s entry ready for Eesti Laul 2021.

On February 29 Uku won the Estonian national final , Eesti Laul 2020, with his entry “What Love Is”  composed by Dimitris Kontopoulos and Sharon Vaughn. Although he earned the right to represent the country in Rotterdam, the Estonian act saw his Eurovision journey being interrupted by the covid-19 outbreak and never had the chance to perform his entry in The Netherlands.

Although Uku Suviste saw his Eurovision journey staying incomplete, the national broadcaster gave him a pass for the semi finals stage in next year’s national selection.
