Eurovision 2015: ORF reveals details for Grand Final

This years host broadcaster ORF has revealed details about the opening of the 2015 grand final.

The final (scheduled to take place on the 23 May) will start with a short film (which is currently in production by West4Media) of the Vienna Philharmonic where music from the likes of Mozart and Beethoven will be played in the Gardens of Schönbrunn Palace. After this, viewers will be transported across Austria to enjoy the many cities and scenery that the country has to offer whilst also meeting the locals who will be standing in a circle to form the sphere of this years contest. David Bronner will be composing the music for this part of the film.

When we arrive back in the Austrian capital, the Sphere from this years logo will float around the Stadthalle Arena to introduce viewers at home this fantastic venue. A tribute to Udo Jürgens(Austria’s first Eurovision winner from 1966) will then take place when Merci cherie will be played.
