Eurovision 2015: Semi-final allocation draw results

After the special draw held at Vienna’s Rathaus (City Hall) in order to distribute a total of 33 countries into one of the two 2015 Eurovision Song Contest semi-finals, scheduled to be held on 19 and 21 May in Vienna.

During the draw it was also determined in which half of the semi-final the allocated countries are to perform. From a total 0f 39 participating  countries,  33 countries will compete in the semi-finals, whilst the BIG 5 and the host country Austria are automatically qualified to compete in the grand final.

A second special draw was held to determine which semi-final the BIG 5 countries and Austria would air and vote in. Germany is to air and vote in semi-final 2 after a special request from its national broadcaster ARD.

The 2015 Eurovision Song Contest will will be held on 19 (Semi final 1), 21 (Semi final 2) and 23 May at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna.
