EUROVISION 2016: Spain reveals the 6 National Final candidates
Today Spanish broadcaster RTVE finally announced the six acts that will take part in Spain’s National Final for Eurovision 2016. The six finalists are: Xuso Jones, Salvador Beltrán, Maverick, María Isabel, Electric Nana and Barei.
XUSO JONES
He will sing a song composed by Andreas Örhn and Peter Boström, the composer of “Euphoria”, “Amanecer” and “Popular”.
SALVADOR BELTRÁN
This young Catalan-Andalusian singer is will sing a song he wrote himself with the help of Miguel Ángel Arenas ‘Capi’.
MAVERICK
This young singer from Castellón will sing a song written by Juan Magán, DCS and Luiggi Giuseppe Olivares
MARÍA ISABEL
She is the winner of Junior Eurovision 2004. She will compete with a song written by David Santisteban.
ELECTRIC NANA
Electric Nana is going to present a self-penned song in English.
BAREI
This artist will compete with a song she wrote with Rubén Villanueva and Víctor Púa Vivó.
Last year Spain was represented by Edurne and her song ‘Amanecer’ finishing 21st with 15 points.
