Eurovision 2018: These are the ESC 2018 hosts!
As every year , the names of the hosts of the Eurovision Song Contest remain one of the significant features of the contest. We remind you that last year in Kiev the team of hosts was formed by three males , Oleksandr Skichko,Volodymyr Ostapchuk and Timur Miroshnychenko. However this year things seem to be different and the mission will be a totally female case.
This afternoon the Portuguese national broadcaster (RTP) announced officially the hosts of the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest. Not one not two but four beautiful ladies will be the ones to present May’s show: Catarina Furtado, Silvia Alberto, Filomena Cautela and Daniela Ruah. It will be the first time for all of them to live such experience since it’s Portugal’s first time to organize the Contest. However two of them, Catarina and Silvia, have experienced in the past many times this role, in finals of Portuguese national selection. ( Festival da Cançao)
Filomena, on the other hand, presented the Portuguese press conference that revealed the host city of the next Eurovision Song Contest will be Lisbon . Daniela is a famous actor in Portugal and though she has never got involved in the Eurovision scene she is well known to the public from the American TV serial Criminal Investigation: Los Angeles.
Despite the the last days rumors that had Pedro Granger or even José Carlos Malato as the potential host of the upcoming Eurovision , the four ladies made their way through and got the role for next May.
The next Eurovision Song Contest will take place 8, 10 and 12 May 2018 in Lisbon.
