Eurovision 2019: EBU and KAN release Eurovision 2019 logo
The official logo for the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest has been revealed by the European Broadcasting Union and the Israeli national broadcaster KAN.
Back in October, the EBU revealed the slogan for the contest – Dare To Dream – which is based on inclusion, diversity and unity. Inspired by the slogan, ”Dare to Dream”, the official logo contains three triangles which, when united, create a golden star. According to KAN:
The triangle, one of the world’s oldest shapes, is a cornerstone symbol found universally in art, music, cosmology and nature, representing connection and creativity. As the triangles join and combine, they become a new single entity reflecting the infinite stellar sky, as the stars of the future come together in Tel Aviv for the Eurovision Song Contest 2019.
The EBU has also created alternative versions of the logo, with different colour schemes and concepts.
