Israel wins Eurovision 2018 with Netta and her song “Toy”
Perhaps one of the most exciting grand finals of the Eurovision Contest has just finished declaring as winner Israel with Netta and her song Toy leaving behind Cyprus in 2nd place. Israel topped the Public voting while it came 3rd at the jury voting.
The contest took place in the Altice Arena of Lisbon and opened with the parade of flags and countries. After the 26 countries performed on stage to convince the public to vote them while the jury vote had been determined last night with the Jury Rehearsal.
During the opening we watched the most popular acts of Fado music while as the interval act was last year winner’s performance, Salvador Sobral. As in the last previous years , the jury voting was revealed first and the televoting followed.
