Eurovision 2020: Edsilia Rombley as a taxi driver for former ESC winners
Rotterdam is in full steam preparing itself in order to welcome national delegations and fans as host city of the 65th Eurovsion Song Contest. Day by day the host Eurovision broadcaster, AVROTROS, is unveiling more details on parts of the event we will see next May.
The clock is tikcing and the host broadcaster is arranging all section of the Eurovision show we will watch next May . Namely, Edsilia Rombley, will appear as a taxi driver touring around former Eurovision winners showcasing sights and features of the host city. In addtion a discussion will unfold between them and the audience will have the chance to find out more on their Eurovision participation.
Past participants such as , Anne-Marie David (Luxembourg 1973, 1979), Izhar Cohen (Israel 1978, 1985) and Niamh Kavanagh (Ireland 1993, 2010) and Ruslana (Ukraine 2004)will be some of Edsilia’s taxi passengers and share with the audience their Eurovision experience. Together they reminisce about the profit and discuss what the Eurovision Song Contest has meant in their lives. Of course there is also singing! The images for these videos have already been recorded.
The 2020 Eurovision Song Contest is set to take place on 12, 14 and 16 May at the Rotterdam Ahoy in Rotterdam.
