Eurovision 2021: Breakdancer Redo and Eefje de Visser confirmed as the opening acts of Semi final 2

Award-winning break dancer Redouan Ait Chitt (aka Redo) and singer Eefje de Visser will be the opening acts of the the second semifinal show at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam.

The Eurovision 2021 organisers have confirmed that the internationally acclaimed breakdancer Redouan Ait Chitt (Redo) alongside with singer Eefje de Visser  will deliver a special performance on stage showcasing a combination of dacne and singing.

Redo was born with several physical malformations. He has a shorter right arm, which lacks an elbow joint, and has a total of 5 fingers – 2 on the right hand and 3 on the left. He is also missing his right hip, has a shorter right leg, and walks with the aid of a prosthetic. Despite these complications, Redo achieved to reach the top and be one of the most recognizable internatoinal acclaimed breakdancers.

Eefje de Visser is an established name in the Dutch music world. She is known for her hypnotic synth pop with lofty vocals. She is currently working with Eric van Tijn, Musical Director, on an English-language piece of music that can be heard during the opening act of the second semifinal of the Eurovision Song Contest. The lyrics and music written by Eefje connect seamlessly with the story that breakdancer Redo showcases with his dance act.
