Finland: Saara Alto with “Monsters” in Lisbon

Finland’s public brodcaster, Yle, this year, had decided to make an internal selection for its representative at Eurovision Song Contest 2018, as it has already been announced. So, Saara Aalto will be the one to represent the country in Lisbon this year. In the past few weeks, the artist’s three potential songs had  been released and tonight in the Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu (UMK), the country’s selection process, Finland made its choice .
“Monsters” is the song that Saara will perform at Altice Arena claiming a victory for Finland.

Presenters of the evening, which was held at Espoo Metro Areena in Espoo, were Krista Siegfrids (Finland 2013) and Mikko Silvennoinen (teleporter).

Queen

Guest of the night was Mel C, the member of Spice Girls!

The winning song «Monsters» with which the singer will represent Finland in Lisbon came out after the vote of a public and international jury. Monsters won both the juries and the public vote.
