France 2018: Paris is ready to host ESC after 41 years
Walking towards the grand final of the 63rd Eurovision Song Contest, France stands ready to host 2019 Eurovision Song Contest in the capital of the country in Paris. In particular,the mayor of the city,Anne Hidalgo said that Paris will take part in organizing the contest on the upcoming victory of France on Saturday’s final.
She specifically stated:
« Yes, of course, no doubt! I will apply without any interference. It will make me very happy to welcome to Paris the big Eurovision family as it has been a long time since the last time it was held in Paris. »
This year, France is represented by the Madame Monsieur duo with the song “Mercy” and we will see it directly at Saturday’s final. The country’s last victory took place in 1977, and if it succeeds in winning the final on Saturday, the most likely venue is the AccorHotels Arena with a capacity of more than 20,000 seats.
After the Cypriot general’s statement that the country is ready to organize the next competition, another country declares its wish if it succeeds in winning the next Saturday’s final. Be patient until Saturday night, whenever we will find out the destination of Eurovision 2019.
