France: Amir releases his third album ‘Ressources’
Amir, the French representative at Eurovision 2016 has released his thrid personal album titled ‘Ressources’.
A year after the release of “5 minutes avec toi”, and his recent duet with Greek star Nikos Vertis in the song Si on n’aime qu’une fois the French superstar has released his third album titled ‘Ressources’. Already four tracks from his new album have previosuly gone public Toi, dedicated to his wife, Ma lumière, dedicated to his son, as well as On verra bien and La fête (The Celebration).
Amir’s new disc contains 18 tracks among which several featurings, with One Republic, Indila, Idan Raichel Project or 7 Jaws & Bambino.
In Resources, the singer has gone to the depths of his life to entrust new things to his audience. Living special moments in his life as Amir, married to Lital Haddad, his long-time companion, welcomed in February 2019 his first child, a little boy named Mikhaël he says in his interview to Memesita :
“It changed the way I see everything, life in general. I’m another human, someone who has understood, I think, the true meaning of this existence, who knows that he is responsible for the future ( …). When we understand that we no longer have the sense of our own attention, that even our couple is no longer the center, but that it is just this human being, we want him to have the most beautiful life and it becomes a wonderful responsibility, it’s thrilling to live, “

About Amir
Amit Haddad aka Amir, is a French-Israeli singer and songwriter. He took part in 2006 in the Israeli music competition Kokhav Nolad, released his album Vayehi in 2011 and was a finalist in French competition The Voice: la plus belle voix as part of Team Jenifer finishing third in the competition. He represented France in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song “J’ai cherché”, which finished in 6th place.
Amir joined Stéphane Bern and Marianne James as a commentator for France 2 at the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kiev. He served as one of the domestic jury members for the semifinals of Destination Eurovision along with Christophe Willem and Isabelle Boulay to help France choose its entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon. Along with 2019 Swedish Eurovision representative John Lundvik and famed Swedish composers Peter Boström and Thomas G:son, Amir helped co-write the song “The Best in Me” for Tom Leeb, the French representative at Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
