France: Eurovision France: ‘C’est Vous Qui Décidez’ 2022 acts and entries released

The French national broadcaster, France 2, released the songs as well as the singers of the upcoming national final “Eurovision France:” C’est Vous Qui Décidez “2022.
“Eurovision France: c’est vous qui décidez” was held for the first time last year with a total of 12 acts competing in the national final. The national selection show came in response to last year’s internal selection, which was widely criticized.
The show will be hosted by Laurence Boccolini and Stéphane Bern.
The jury consists of ten people.
Τhe show “Eurovision France:” C’est Vous Qui Décidez “2022 will take place on March 5, 2022.
A total of 12 artists will compete in the national final and fight for the right to represent France at Eurovision 2022.
Specifically, the twelve songs that were selected to compete on March 5, 2022 are:
- Alvan & Ahez – Fulenn
- Cyprien –Ma famille
- Elia – Téléphone
- Elliott – La Tempête
- Hélène in Paris – Paris mon amour
- Joan – Madame
- Joanna – Navigateure
- Julia – Chut !
- Marius – Les chansons d’amour
- Pauline Chagne – Nuit Pauline
- Saam – Il est où
- Soa – Seule
The national show is produced and directed by Julian Gutierrez and Stéphane Bohée, while Florian Guiot is the Project Manager. Alexandra Redde-Amiel remains in her place as head of the French delegation.
The final result of the national final will be determined by a combination of public voting (50%) and jury (50%).
France in Eurovision
France is one of the seven countries that had its first participation back in 1956. Since then the country has won the contest 5 times. Last time was in 1977, with Marie Myriam and her song L’oiseau et l’enfant.
In 2021 France represented by Barbara Pravi who sang “Voila” which finished 2nd place with 499 points.
