France: France 2 begins selection process for Eurovision 2022

France’s national broadcaster, France 2, has confirmed that it will take part in next year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Italy.
France 2 (French national broadcaster), has confirmed its participation in Eurovision 2022 and has started the process for the French national final ‘Eurovision France: C’est Vous Qui Décidez’, through which the country’s representative will be selected in the next competition to be held in Italy.
France 2 has released the rules and regulations for the national final Eurovision France: C’est Vous Qui Décidez’ and opened the submission window for interested singers and composers wishing to represent the country at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Italy.
Applications can be sent at the following address: casting.eurovision-ftv@francetv.fr. Submissions will be accepted until October 24, 2021.
France in Eurovision
France is one of the seven countries that had its first participation back in 1956.
Since then the country has won the contest 5 times. Last time was in 1977, with Marie Myriam and her song L’oiseau et l’enfant.
This year France represented by Barbara Pravi who sang ‘Voila’ which finished 2nd place with 499 points.
